A cool day

Huge rain clouds have covered Japanese archipelago for some days now, here in Yokohama it has rained all day today and been cool! Yes it’s humid but the temperature is under 25°C, I didn’t need the air conditioner all day - it’s a bliss after the exhausting summer heat. Though this same clouds have brought huge amount of rain in wide areas in the west part of Japan, caused some landslides and killed some people. We are afraid that more disaster would happen… really, we have no extra resources for one more international sports event!! Here, summer is the season of the merciless heat and natural disaster.

As for the infection of Covid19 the situation is getting worse every day. No beds for the new patients in the hospitals and people began to die at home. Japanese government has no plan at all except the vaccination but it’s still slow, many younger people cannot get it. Just disgusting. The medical staffs are working hard but they are exhausted, we see no prospect for the future, no idea at all about when this would end… I just trying to stay safe, stay at home, no going out nor eating out. Sometimes I feel so sick about our situation.

Well, at least I have my rabbit in my room and our garden cats in the garden, they help me to go on…
