Manryo in the vase

Yesterday the gardener, who has taken care of our garden for maybe more than 30 years, has been here to trim our garden trees. He found a small Manryo (Ardisia crenata) tree (just 80cm high, I think) growing within a bush of azalea, and had to cut it. It had many red beautiful berries (not edible) and we didn’t want to just throw it away, mother displayed those trimmed branches in a flower vase.

I don’t expect that this would hold longer, but at least we can enjoy this for a few days :)
