A rainy day

Rain. Humid but cool day. It’s better than humid and hot day, but this coolness made me feel really blue.

In the morning in the interval of light rain I offered a incense stick on the grave of Noa. Then began my job with computer, but felt little motivation... just felt gloomy. Not good. So I went out into the garden and did some physical exercise, it worked. I felt a bit better. The lack of sunshine, and physical activity can make us feel melancholy. In the garden juneberry shows its tiny berries turning red, nandina is blooming. They were beautiful.

Around 10am I got a parcel from my friend living in the west part of Japan. She has kindly sent me a small box of Japanese sweets. This gift from a friend made me feel good :) I had a tea break and enjoyed it with green tea.

Before noon rain has become heavier so I had no choice but just doing my job (off course, this is the workday!) but in the afternoon I finished my job a bit earlier and went out to have the aromatherapy massage which made me really relaxed.

So, though I have felt generally blue, this is not a bad day... :)
