This move might not a big problem for my friends because they had experienced some move in the past, once to a foreign country. But for me who have lived here in Yokohama almost all my life - except about 5 years before I had become 6, so quite little memory about those years - such moving to the far away area seems very very difficult. And I notice that to me, living here in Yokohama means a lot, it’s strongly connected to my identity. I love travels, before this stupid pandemic I have visited foreign countries every year. But visiting other area or country is quite different from living in other area. This might be because I don’t have my own family. If you have a good partner, where your partner lives might be the place you should be, your home.
Anyway. I’m not sure if this is good or bad. It might be a mental poverty and lack of the flexibility. Well... when Mr.& Mrs.K would move to their new home I’m going to visit them and see how good the area might be:)
