The recollections of a rifleman.

Now with my portable CD player I'm enjoying "The Recollections of Rifleman Harris" read by Jason Salkey. This is a historical note by a soldier who served as a rifleman of British army in the Napoleonic Wars. As a fan of Bernard Cornwell's "Sharpe" series(*^_^*) I have read the original book some years ago and found it's really interesting. The CD book is of course shortened but with the reader's performance this awesome report sounds very real and dramatic despite the simple description. It's not easy for me to follow & understand the whole story with my poor English skill but I found I could enjoy the reading more than the book...
