And it was maybe 10 years - or more? I don't remember - ago when I've gone to the nice exhibition of Andrew Wyeth's artworks in Tokyo and was totally hooked on them.
Thus I have wanted to visit Chadds Ford, the town where Wyeth family had lived for generations, and Brandywine River Museum which owns many works of Wyeths. And it was really a great museum, worth visiting. It located in a lovely setting, on a beautiful riverbank, and their exhibitions were... it's too good to be true for me. N.C.'s original illustrations were big oil paintings, their compositions, the colour... just wonderful. I have more than enjoyed to go there for three days, I forgot everything while I was watching the works.
I also joined the mini-bus tour visiting N.C.Wyeth's house & studio, and the nearby Kuerner Farm which had been a big motif for Andrew Wyeth's art many years.
