This morning I polished my shoes clean and put them in the shoe cupboard - so now these guests are all gone XD When I put a pair of my sandals into a box I saw the old note "2005, black sandals" I'd made on the box - meant I bought the sandals in 2005. So I've worn them for more than 10 years. They are one of my favorite pair of sandals and I have once had them repaired so no wonder it's been more than 10 years since I'd got them. But is it common to wear the same samdals or shoes for 10 years? I'm not sure. And I noticed that without having children nor changing the job, my life seems quite same as it was 10 years ago, and I sometimes don't notice how long I've worn the same shoes or clothes. A decade is a long time, and if I don't notice the passing of a decade then... my whole life could go quickly with little fruits, I'm afraid. The small note on the shoes box has frightened me...
Another story about the shoes.
On the last trip (to UK) I'd broken my hiking boots, and on another trip I had also broken hiking shoes, so I've wanted to get the new ones. Today I bought the hiking boots and trainers :)
But at the moment I have no plan for the next hiking trip... frankly I'm not sure if I can take holidays in near future for I'm quite busy in the office at the moment - and will be for a while. I rather bought them to encourage myself to plan the hiking trip, as a kind of good luck charm.
