midsummer thought

After weeks of changeable weather now the sunshine and the merciless heat are back, today I can use my new parasol at last! though I'm not sure whether I should be pleased or not.
It is midsummer now, a continuous chorus of cicadas teaches us the energy and fragilness of life every minutes.


9th August. The day A-bombing to Nagasaki, the most Christian city in Japan. The 66th anniversary of nearly 150,000 people's death - it was more than half of the population of the city in 1945.
