(water-pot in sunshine)
I found & picked some Fuki (butterbur) shoots in garden and made Fuki-miso for our supper. It's a kind of relish we usualy eat with hot rice, made with Fuki shoot and miso(soybean paste). Fuki shoots in the midwinter, often after snowfall, and Fuki-miso always makes us think about the coming spring.
(There are many recipes for Fuki-miso, I make it with my grandmother's recipe. Chop the fuki shoots(3), add some sugar and sake(4), mix it with miso(5), spread it on a small flat plate(6) and bake it(7). It's yummy on hot rice!)
