winter is approaching

There is a big water pot in my garden, and some - I think more than 20 - rice fish inhabit in it. Every day about 7 am I feed them - they don't need to be fed for they usually eat plankton in the water, but it's fun to see them swimming or chasing each other to get the small food so every morning I go out to the garden to feed them. But recent 4 or 5 days when I looked down the water surface I didn't see the fish, even when I threw the food just 1 or 2 fish appeared ...slowly. It seems that now the temperature is becoming low & the water might be cold, maybe ricefish like to stay in the bottom of the water. I think winter is coming soon...
