After a week wearing hiking shoes the pumps felt so tight, watching the computer screen was so tiring.
After work I went to the grocery stores to buy bread, milk, ham etc for myself, and vegetables for Mr.Uma. Quite an usual life!
Now it's humid and still very warm, very unusual for October. Usually our October is the most comfortable month with cooler air. The flowers of kinmokusei, the fragrant olive in our garden had blossomed during my absence but I still smell of their wonderful scent.
While I was absent Mr.Uma seemed to learn how to jump onto this low chair, to ask my mother for a treat.
As for the construction of the house the carpenters had built the main frame, on the day I returned they they were putting up the roof. Now they work quite well, from 7 o'clock in the morning until after dark. Now I & mother are required to decide the details like where and how many switches & electrical outlets we need in our rooms or the colour of the door etc.
Even during my holiday the life was going on and now I have to catch it up...
